The Louisa County Rotary Foundation is a 501(c)(3) public charity with a focus on improving the educational opportunities available to the youth of Louisa County. The Foundation is actively engaged in activities such as providing dictionaries to all of Louisa’s third grade students, sponsoring speech and essay contests for area students, providing scholarships for higher education and sponsoring students to leadership camps. Working with Louisa County Public Schools and the Louisa Art Center, the Foundation sponsors live theater performances of the Barter Players to students in the community. The Foundation also provides scholarships to summer camps at the Louisa Art Center and provides funding for the Mobile Arts Outreach Program for area children.
