The cookout – which took place during the pregame festivities for Louisa County High School’s varsity football season opener versus Patrick Henry – was made possible thanks to a partnership between the Louisa Rotary Club and UVA Community Credit Union, who work together to both fund and organize the event. In late November, members of our Rotary club are delivering Thanksgiving in a basket, which includes a variety of sweet and savory treats and a $30 Food Lion gift card! We are sure the families in need will enjoy this special surprise!

On June 29, 2016, Kristin Renée Hicks was inducted as the 2016-2017 Club President, following in the footsteps of Hamilton C.R. Garnett, now Immediate Past President. Here, she is photographed with Garnett and two long-time Rotarians, Honorable F. Ward Harkrader and John Nolin.
The Louisa County Rotary had a booth and the Agriculture fair and raffled off these two beautiful bird houses to two lucky individuals.
On Wednesday, April 19th, 2017 the Louisa County Rotary Club was pleased to have in attendance our 2017 Essay contest winner and her family! Her essay was about the Rotary's Four Way Test and it's application in life. Congrats Emma!

Congratulations to Katrina Duff of CVALiNK! She was one of the lucky winners of a Rotary box, handcrafted by Louisa Rotarian David Palmer, raffled off at the 2015 Louisa County Ag Fair!

Rotarians from the Louisa County Rotary Club spent two days at the Louisa County Agricultural Fair promoting the work of the organization in the local community, as well as offering information on the international service-focused organization.
On September 10, 2014, our club heard from Mineral District Supervisor Stephanie Koren about her efforts and successes in public service and civic engagement. An active community advocate, Koren shared with group members her own family's connection to Rotary and her vision for Louisa County in the coming years. On behalf of Koren's presentation, a book was gifted to the Louisa County Public Library.
Check out four of the five awards we earned for the 2014-2015 Rotary year: vocational service, public service, club service and community service. Thank you to a wonderful and receptive community that supports our programming efforts!
